January 13th lesson

Dear students,
Today you will prepare for your final presentation on January 13th or January 20th. Your topic is any year from 1980 to 1993. The year that you choose should not be the same as anyone else's. You may be solo or pair, and you should speak for five minutes per person. Your speech should have a structure; you may have three subtopics, or you might have ten interesting things, or an event each month, or you could choose people born in that year, or focus just on one country; Anything is okay as long as your speech is organized and is made easy to follow. Presentations made using slideshow software are often but not always better than otherwise, so please consider how you will deliver your talk, too.
Kind regards,
Chris Elvin
